The Extended School Program (ESP) focuses on the care and safety of our students for the ages of 5 through 14 years. The program provides care before school, after school, and in a full- day program when school is not in session. Students are provided opportunities to participate in activities that are educationally enriching. A homework component is included for those needing assistance. Activities include art, music, drama, crafts, storytelling, recreation, and other creative components. The Extended School Program (ESP) is designed to meet the needs of children and is conducted by trained staff. This program is an extension of the child’s experiences at home and at school. It is a quality program with the working family in mind.

ESP operates daily on a year-round basis including snow days, teacher in-service days, and summer vacation. Full- day sessions are implemented for all Greene County Schools at three sites, which are Debusk, Doak and Mosheim.

ATTENTION ESP PARENTS if you need after school care and you are interested in using the ESP program for your child, you must pick up an application and return it with the annual $10.00 registration fee to ESP. You must turn in a completed application before your child may attend.

If you have questions regarding the program or concerns, feel free to contact Dr. Kristi Wallin, ESP Supervisor, at 639-4194 or email: kristi.wallin@gcstn.org
