Each of you will need to collect data about a part of your school building that could be counted, such as rooms, steps, doors, and windows. Complete the collection of data. Create a graph that will compare these parts of your school building. Share the graph with your class and an explanation of how it was created. |

4.2.a Go to the WebQuest "A Picture is worth a Zillion Words" and complete the activities. An evaluation rubric is provided at the end of the quest. Use the rubric to evaluate your work. Give everything to your teacher. |

4.3.a Gather data about the colors in your classmates' clothing. Using this data create a bar graph that will compare the different colors that are being worn. Share your graph with your classmates and ask them questions that can be answered by looking at the information shown on the graph. |

4.4.a Scan newspapers or magazines to find bar graphs. Provide a display for your class. Discuss the data contained in the graphs, identifying their scales and labels. |
