Message From The Principal:

 

    If you happened to drive by South Greene High School you would see a school much like any other. You would see a brick building stadium and parking lots. What you would not see is what is going on inside that building that makes South Greene High School extraordinary. Inside you would see committed, professional teachers. You would see people, adults, and students, who are committed to lifelong learning. You would see individuals willing to change, willing to explore, willing to grow.

    By every measure, South Greene High School is a successful school. The test scores are high. The drop-out rate is virtually non-existent. We have been a winner for the last four years for the State Incentive Award. Why would a school like this one even think about changing or trying to improve?  The answer is simple--it is one of expectations. Our staff has high expectations for the students but even higher expectations for itself.
