    I want all of our students to have the opportunity to receive the best possible education and training that will enable each student to become productive and successful citizens.  Regular attendance and proper behavior are important to the success of each student.  The student handbook will be of great value in understanding the policies and procedures of our school.  Major sections are devoted to: graduation requirements; attendance; discipline, including the dress code; clubs and activities; and health and safety concerns.

    As assistant principal, one of my goals is to provide more counseling and/or referrals for counseling for students referred to the office for discipline problems.  In addition, I have worked with the Character Counts Team to establish a program in which a student is selected each week and recognized for outstanding character qualities.
