School-Parent Compact
Goal: The
parents, school staff, and students share
the responsibility for improving
the
academic
achievement of each child so that all state standards are met.
I.
Curriculum
and
Instruction
A.
Each child
will receive
daily learning opportunities from a variety of learning models and
strategies.
B.
Appropriate
assessments
will be used both formally (3 week reports, grade cards, weekly
folders, state
reports, etc.) and informally (student feedback, reward trip, etc.) to
determine student success. These assessments will be communicated to
students
and parents by our staff.
C.
Character
education will
be an on-going learning strategy to teach respect and the other pillars
of
character.
D.
Parents will
be asked to
help at school both by survey and by school staff.
E.
Our school
staff and
parents will expect and provide the very best curriculum opportunities
for each
child.
II.
