Mosheim Elementary /
Middle School conducted its annual Science Fair February 11-13,
2008.
Students did an outstanding job exploring the world of science by
making 464 projects. Many lived up to the rigorous standards
required by
our school. Dr. Joe Parkins, Director of the Greene County
School
System, presented the awards Tuesday, February 19,
2007. Best of Show Winners were Sabrina M. for grades
3-4
and Aaron F. for grades 5-6 and Elizabeth M. for grades 7-8.
Each best of show winner
received a
portable
color television donated by our partner in education, Wal-Mart
Distribution
Center and a $50.00 check. We
would like to acknowledge the work of third
grade
teachers and our judges from
Walters State Community College during
this educational event of our school. We will have participants
in the Greene County Schools Science Fair in March and the East
Tennessee State University Science Fair in Johnson City in April.

and 3rd Nate K.; Fourth Grade-1st Sabrina M., 2nd Sandi I., and 3rd
Braxton P.; Fifth Grade-1st Erica R., 2nd Adam G., and 3rd Jared E.;
Sixth Grade-1st Aaron F, 2nd Tanner C., and 3rd Corey F.; Seventh
Grade-1st Elizabeth M., 2nd Cameron K. and Jordan W.(tie), 3rd Megan
R.; and 8th
Grade-1st Breanna M., 2nd Tyler P., and 3rd Taylor P. Each grade
level winner received a gold medallion for 1st
place, a silver medallion for 2nd place, and
a bronze medallion for 3rd place.
