County Mayor Jones signs a proclamation in support of  "The Six Pillars of Character."

On Friday, October 14th, County Mayor Jones signed a Greene County proclamation in support of the six pillars of character:  Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.  This proclamation will be read at the Greene County Commission Meeting Monday, October 17th.  Before signing this proclamation, he gave a summary of the importance of each pillar in making our students be their best.  In observance of the six pillars
our students will wear the appropriate colors on the following days:  Friday (October 14th) - Blue for Trustworthiness, Monday (October 17th) - Yellow for Respect, Tuesday (October 18th) - Green for Responsibility, Wednesday (October 19th) - Orange for Fairness, Thursday (October 20th) - Red for Caring, and Friday (October 21st) - Purple for Citizenship.  During the ceremony, all students said the character counts pledge in unison.  It was a proud event for our school.  Learn more at charactercounts.org.
