Veteran's Day 2005
We honor your service.

Tuesday morning November 8th, we had our annual Mosheim community Veterans Day program.  We were honored to have several veterans in attendance including some who recently returned from Iraq.  Some were on the staff of our school.  Many wore their uniforms.  We were honored to have members of the local V.F.W. Colorguard as our guests.  The members of the Junior Beta Club of Mosheim Middle School performed the song "You're A Grand Ole Flag."  Alex S., President of the club, gave a speech on "The History of Veteran's Day."  The Middle School Band also played patriotic music including "America the Beautiful and "Armed Forces March."  Joshua Bolling and Karen McCaslin sang "The Star Spangled Banner."  Tammie Dean sang "God Bless America."  Red carnations were given to the local veterans in attendance.  The cermony concluded with all singing Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A."
