at Mosheim 2006
Thursday, March 2nd, was Read Across America at our school.  Many activities took place to encourage reading by our students.  Dr. Suess decorations were all over our school.  Martha Sims, our librarian even dressed up for the event.  Sessions Judge Tom Wright, County Mayor Roger Jones, Sheriff Steve Burns, Ken Bailey, Jr., Jim Alcorn, Mary Ann Rush, Greeneville Fireman Scott Allen, Dale Long, Greeneville Detective Steve Hixson and the Greeneville Astros Mascot joined other community leaders and the faculty and staff of our school stressing to our students the importance of reading for a lifetime.  We want to thank all who contributed.  Students had activities in their classrooms, the middle school gym, and in the bus duty areas to get them excited about reading.  Dr. Suess would have been proud!
Fun was had by all!
