| Mosheim Elementary/Middle School is "going green"!!! We're excited about starting a recycling program called "DRINK IT THEN SINK IT!". This is part of the New Look of School Milk school of nutrition initiative which includes milk packaged in attractive plastic milk bottles. It is important that our students do the enviromnemtally responsible thing by recycling these bottles. To kick off the program the school had a program on March 4. Many distinguished guest attended including school board members and Jill Henderson of the National DairyCouncil. Six graders performed a skit showing students how to dispose of their milk bottles. The Mosheim Cheerleaders entertained us with cheers supporting the idea of Drink It then Sink It!. Mrs. Jones also acknowledged that Jack Horner of Goodwill Industries of Knoxville will be collecting the recycled bottles. We hope that this program will encourage recycling efforts among our student and staff. And don't forget.... Let's "DRINK IT THEN SINK IT'! |
