Just One Candle

Just One Candle was an event experienced by anyone and everyone at Doak Elementary School that wanted to participate.  It was held on November 3-4, 2009 and was comprised of two different events.  The nighttime event gave the community the opportunity to let Doak students know that education is important and supported by the Tusculum area.  The daytime event placed the entire faculty, staff, and students at Doak as human paint drops forming a candle that only makes sense from the sky.  The song, “Just One Candle” teaches us that we need to “fill the world with light.”
