DEBUSK RAISES $1,176 FOR ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
Twenty-one hard working students
each completed 200 grade level math problems to raise money for the St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The money
raised goes to pay for St. Jude medical care not covered by insurance.
Those without insurance are never turned away. To show their appreciation,
St. Jude presented a t-shirt, free Six Flags ticket, and a certificate
to those who raised at least $35. Students raising $75 also received
a sports bag. Brooklyn T. earned the most money and received a Plug
N Play. Holly Goodrich, Title I teacher, coordianted the DeBusk Mathathon.
