JUDITH HEUMANN, UNITED STATES ASSISTANT SECRETARY
OF EDUCATION, VISITS DEBUSK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The U. S. Assistant Secretary of Education, Judith
Heumann, visited our school in September 1997. Many county officials
joined us in our new gymnasium to hear Ms. Heumann speak to students, parents,
and guests. Afterwards, several students came to the microphone to
ask questions about her life and career. Below is a pictorial presentation
of the day's activities.
