Spaghetti Dinner will be planned for December 4th with the assistance of Pizza Inn to raise money to buy special needs equipment for students at Debusk.  Tickets will be $6 sold in advance and at the door.  A family that had a fire destroy their home and belongings will have a benefit in January - possible events were mentioned such as basketball game with students versus parents and a meal served, or a 4 on 4 basketball tournament with concessions being sold and profits going to assist the family.  December meeting will be the Christmas Program.
November

There needs to be at least 2 basketball parents and 1 cheerleading parent in the concession stand.  Pee Wee cheerleading parents will run the door during Pee Wee games.  Physicals and insurance must be turned in before next game or students will not be allowed to play.  Tanya Casteel will place a directory of all booster coaches and phone numbers in the office.  Next meeting will be Tuesday, December 4th at 5:45 due to the Christmas program.
October

Snack Shack will be held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays each month from 1:00 - 2:30.  Belk fundraiser was approved.  A lump sum of money will be distributed by Mr. Malone to students who can not afford to pay for field trips.  Teachers and Mr. Malone will make the decision based on need.  Next meeting will be Tuesday, November 6th.

October

Booster coaches need to collect dues and insurance fees from players and give lit of those paid to Tanya Casteel.  Parents must have physicals turned in before first game on Nov. 1st.  Booster Clean Up Day, Saturday October 13th at 8:00 am.  Booster Club will sponsor a Skating Party on Tuesday, November 20th with a $5 admission.  Mr. Malone reminded everyone of the October 16th from 5-8 pm is McTeacher Night at McDonald's on the Asheville Highway.  Next meeting will be Tuesday, November 6th check Greeneville Sun for cancellations.
September

In an attempt to increase parent involvement in monthly meetings parent volunteers will distribute reminder notes 2-3 days before scheduled meeting to car riders in both the front and back pick areas.  Student of the Month awards will be handed out during the monthly meetings.  The school will give pencils and awards during the Academic Pep Rally held each six weeks for students obtaining A and B honor roll status or perfect attendance.  It was voted to help pay to paint the rock wall.
September

Booster Clean Up Day  - Saturday, October 13th at 8:00 am.  Varsity Cheerleaders have requested to continue cleaning the gym after home games @ $35 per game.  Sock Hop / Fun Day will be Friday, September 21st from 3 - 7 pm.  Admission is $8 - 1st child, $6 - 2nd child, $4 - each add'l child.  Pre K can attend with an adult.  Concessions will be sold.  Pee Wee parents will open the concession stand on Saturdays.  Cheerleader parents will run the door.  Each coach is responsible for scheduling their own workers.    All coaches need to be aware of the grading policy for suspensions.  Parents  are required to attend 3 of  first 5 meetings.  Next Meeting - October 2 at 6pm check Greeneville Sun for cancellations.
