DeBusk Elementary School Receives State Incentive Award - The Incentive Awards Program is provided for superior performance by local schools on specified measures of accountability. The goals and standards are mandated by legislation and established by the State Board of Education.The General Assembly has funded $500,000 for this program. Statewide, DeBusk was one of only 97 schools that achieved the award this year; so each school is to receive $5,154.63.  Students and teachers are to be commended.  To reward students for their efforts, the school had a celebration party on August 15.  Here are some pictures of our party day.
