OPEN HOUSE
OPEN HOUSE AND BOOK FAIR BRING COMMUNITY TOGETHER: A large
crowd of parents, siblings, teachers, and students gathered in the gym
at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 13, for the school's annual open house.
Our new principal, Mr. Chris Malone, welcomed everyone and shared his vision
for our school and our students. A representative from Hands on Museum
presented a certificate to Christy Hoeke for being appointed to a five-teacher
advisory council, and she discussed the many benefits to our school.
On behalf of our PTO, President Tanya Casteel gave our three new teachers
a monetary gift to help them in their new classrooms. She also invited
parents to join the PTO and to get involved in the school community.
After enjoying refreshments, everyone visited the classrooms.
