GRADE HEALTH FAIR
On Wednesday, February 7, Laughlin Memorial Hospital staff members,
led by Dr. Don Henard, provided a two-hour health fair for the eighth grade
students of DeBusk Elementary School. The following health personnel
spoke about their occupations, the educational requirements, and employment
opportunities:

Ashley Head, Registered Dietician

Beverly Gott, Registered Nurse (also spoke on Diabetes)

Glen Mitchell, Radiographer (also an instructor at East Tennessee State
University)

Jeff Miller, Respiratory Therapist

Deanna Shepard, Registered Nurse

Rhonda Gefellers, Laboratory Technologist
Although all students took the Kuder Career Planning online test, the results
of three students indicated they have a high interest an aptitude for health
professons. They are shown above with Dr. Henard.
