The Extended School Program (ESP) focuses on the care and safety of our students from the ages of kindergarten through the 6th grade. The program provides care before school, after school, and in a full-day program when school is not in session. Students are provided opportunities to participate in activities that are educationally enriching. A homework component is included for those needing assistance. Activities include art, music, drama, crafts, storytelling, recreation, snacks, and other creative components. The Extended School Program (ESP) is designed to meet the needs of children and is conducted by a trained staff. This program is an extension of the child's experiences at home and school. It is a quality program designed with the working family in mind.
ESP operates daily on a year-round basis including snow days, teacher in-service days, and summer vacation. Full day sessions are implemented for all Greene County Schools at two sites, Doak and Mosheim.
The Extended School Program (ESP) is offered at DeBusk Elementary School after school from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Kindergarten early dismissal days, ESP will operate from 12:00 to 2:30 pm.
