We culminated "Character Education Week" by celebrating Pillar Friday on October 20. Each student and each teacher dressed in one of the colors of the Six Pillars of Character. Our guidance counselor, Mrs. Holtkamp, directed the activities. Click here to see pictures of the Six Pillars of Character as the students gathered in the gym on Friday. Blue for Trustworthiness- Think "true blue". Yellow for Respect - Think the Golden Rule. Green for Responsibility - Think being responsible for a "garden" of finances. Orange for Fairness - Think dividing an "orange" into equal sections. Red for Caring - Think a "heart". Purple for Citizenship - Think the "purple heart".
