Many opportunities are available for staff development in the Greene County School System. Inservice training sessions during the summer, after school, and on weekends are offered to help teachers learn more about technology. Each school is required to provide technology training days.
Technical training from professional technology centers has been provided for key technical personnel in our system. Several building level support personnel have gained highly technical certifications, such as the Novell certification for network administrators.
Teachers are provided with opportunities to attend technology conferences, courses are offered by the Greeneville-Greene County Center for Technology, and many technical training opportunities exist at the building and system levels from our technology support staff.
