1A-Beginning PowerPoint 
and Excel
This session will cover the basics of PowerPoint and Excel.  The participants will be taught how to build a basic PowerPoint presentation and set-up a basic Excel spreadsheet.

1C-TI 83/84 for Math,
Science and Gateways
(Beginners)
 This workshop is for you if you would like to see some of the capabilities of these calculators, but have little experience with them beyond add, subtract, multiply and divide.  We will use the basic operations and function keys, and the graphing features todo some short activities suitable for a middle or high school math or science class.  We will look at some materials for the TI 83/84 that are available online for the classroom teacher.
1D-Integrating United Streaming
in the Classroom
 In this session, you will explore the features of United Streaming and learn practical ways to integrate this website into your curriculum.
1E-Using the InterWrite Board
for teaching Mathematics
A preview of the InterWrite Board and some of the benefits of using it in a classroom. I will show how it can enhance the mathematics classroom and some of the functions it offers. Teachers attending should have time to try to use the InterWrite pad and see if they feel they could benifit from one.
1F-Using an LCD Projector 
in the Classroom
Learn different ways to enhance instruction by using an LCD projector.
1G-Technology for the 
Music Teacher
Session will cover the new textbooks, "Music! It's Role and Importance In Our Lives." I will also be demonstrating Sibelius 4 -- a music notation software. Internet Resources will also be shared.

A creative way to integrate visual art into theatre, literature, computers, and music in a way which will involve ALL students.

in the Classroom
Lori Waddle from the Greeneville Sun will be here to introduce and answer questions about the Newspaper in the Classroom program.
2A-Intermediate PowerPoint
and Excel
This session will cover more advanced PowerPoint topics.  The participant will build a basic quiz in PowerPoint by linking slides.  The Excel portion will focus on charts and graphs.
2C-TI 83/84 for Math, 
Science and Gateways
(Advanced)
Still wondering what the STAT key does?  And what's the VARS thing?  If you are fairly familiar with the basic functions and graphing features of the TI 83/84, but would like to fine tune and explore some other features, then this is the workshop for you.  We will explore some statistics features, graph window adjustments and corrections, X/Y table building and use, find lines and curves of best fit (regression), and do some short activities using these features.  If you are interested, there will be some CBR's available to try out.  A CBR is a calculator based ranger, a device that collects data by finding the distance to an object and then sends the data to the calculator.  It's a great tool for exploring distance, speed, and acceleration graphs.

We will troubleshoot common problems that teachers and secretaries/tech personnel experience when producing report cards.

Science and Social Studies
Instruction will include the setup of the CPS units.  The use of the CPS units in any classroom setting and for any age group.  We will also show data bank setup and how to use the data bank with the handheld units.  We will finish by explainig the handheld units and how to transfer data from the exercise to a grade.
3H,4H-Wellness and P.E. Resources
Learn how to submit online Presidential Physical Fitness Test scores and find valuable resources on PE web sites. 
3I-Setting up and using the
