Science and Gateways (Advanced) |
Still wondering what the STAT key does? And what's the VARS thing? If you are fairly familiar with the basic functions and graphing features of the TI 83/84, but would like to fine tune and explore some other features, then this is the workshop for you. We will explore some statistics features, graph window adjustments and corrections, X/Y table building and use, find lines and curves of best fit (regression), and do some short activities using these features. If you are interested, there will be some CBR's available to try out. A CBR is a calculator based ranger, a device that collects data by finding the distance to an object and then sends the data to the calculator. It's a great tool for exploring distance, speed, and acceleration graphs. |
