Building Level Technology Coach

TITLE: Building Level Technology Coach

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be an employee of the Greene County School System.  Additional $300 supplement may be earned by providing after school professional development.

REPORTS TO: Principal of assigned school

JOB GOAL: The Building Level Technology Coach will assist teachers in integrating technology into the curriculum.
 
 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 1.  Promotes the using of technology to enhance education.

 2.  Assists with the planning for technology integration in the building.

 3.  Helps to advance the use of technology in the building.

 4.  Model effective use of technology in their classroom.

 5.  Helps to coordinate building level computer-related activities.

 6.  Gains knowledge by attending appropriate training and conferences.

 7.  Stays abreast of technological advancements.

 8.  Helps to support building level technology concerns.

 9.  Serves as a member of committees and technology teams.

10. Meets requirements and guidelines concerning state and local computer issues.

11. Assist district level Technology Instructional Specialist in gathering data to assess teacher and student technology literacy.

12. Performs other duties as required and/or assigned by administration.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Supplement. - $300.00  Duties to be performed during times when not responsible for students. Additional $300 supplement may be earned by providing after school professional development. An after school professional development plan must be approved by the technology coordinator before additional supplement is granted.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the principal and the system's technology coordinator.
