Instructions for Vendors who would like to be added to Bid Vendor list for technology items or services:
The Greene County School System does maintain a current bid vendor list for any technology items that may be bid during a given academic year. This list is also disseminated to other district and school level staff throughout the year to assist in obtaining three competitive quotes for items that do not meet the guidelines for bidding. This list is kept for a period of one year at which time the list will be cleared on July 1st of each new academic year. Vendors will be expected to request their name be added to the bid vendor list on an annual basis to continue being considered for technology purchases each year.
Those wishing to
submit bids may do so by sending their company info to vendor@greenek12.org
for inclusion on the bidding vendor list.
Bids for desktop
computers and any other needed equipment are faxed to current vendors on
the list around the end of May/first of June each fiscal year.
The bid will be awarded on the first or second week of June and the winning
vendor will be contacted. All vendors may check on the status of
the bid process by e mailing the following address: vendor@greenek12.org
Note: The Greene
County School System fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th.
GCSS is not currently
accepting bids for any equipment.

address.
The bid item you
wish to submit bid for, IE desktop computer, network switches, mobile laptop
carts, etc.
Your company will
then be placed on the vendor list for inclusion in any relevant bids
