Chuckey Doak Middle School

Chuckey Doak Middle School opened its doors in the fall of 2004 to serve its first group of students. Much of the first year was spent planning for and implementing the many technology needs of the school. Funds were used to establish a Title I Lab, which is located in the second level of the building. A mobile lab was also purchased to be used by teachers and classrooms located on the ground level. Early in the year, two Smart Boards were also added to enhance the classroom needs. Students in the Title I computer lab began using Orchard Software for curriculum based instruction.
