1. Turn on the power to Laser Disc Player and monitor. Monitor should be set to Channel 3.

2. To load disc, push the OPEN/CLOSE DOOR button on the laser disc player to open
tray. Place disc in tray, push OPEN/CLOSE DOOR button again to close tray.

3. Push the PLAY Button on the remote control wand.

4. You should see a blue background on the monitor screen. If not, push in the VIDEO button on the TV/Monitor
control panel which is located below the monitor screen.

5. Press PLAY on the remote if you wish to view a movie sequence.Using you remote control wand, you can skip, fast forward, and reverse skip through the frames  Press FRAME button forward or backwards to advance or back up ONE frame at a time. Press the SCAN button if you wish to scan the images very fast. If you are using a science laser disc that came with our last text book adoption, there is a booklet with barcodes that will search and find the place on the disc that you need.  While pressing the READ button, pass the remote control wand over the barcode.  The section title you are looking for should be displayed on the TV monitor.  Also inside this booklet you will find the barcodes that tell the laser disc to use the audio files for English or Spanish.

6. Using you remote control wand, you can skip, fast forward, and reverse skip through the frames.
